Your side of the story: so minding my own business as a chef i did my own thing learning the advanced side of cooking via pastries and pies. an assistant comes down the stairs and says "im the new chef". i didnt believe it at first and beat them and threw them out and inspected their id after tossing them over the kitchen counter. in my head i didnt believe this as i was not presented a note from the hop or a message or any indication that they were legally hired and again i didnt believe this due to prior explosions and possible criminals running rampant so yeah i was on edge when they cameby. the HOP of the time even stated that i should cook them for pestering them. but after that all happened and no one was coming to bar or kitchen counter to grab food i assumed the crew died i left the server only to return to the ban.
Why you think you should be unbanned: well why i feel i should come back is because i would like to build the hours on the server for more then a few hours other then getting told "ah yes no hour means bad player" and feel that its unfair, regardless of the poor note history because of the lack of hours made. great example of my playstyle is this round. i left because i didnt feel the roleplay that the title that it was. the assistant had many avenues of approaching me or reporting me. not to simply ahelp for being beaten. i just didnt know if they were telling the truth or not. they could have got to sec to question me i would have seen that as roleplay but they didnt go that route. but i want to make more hours on here and other TG servers.
References of good conduct: i have tried to make a ban appeal from Paradise station but i have poor writing skills. and the admin at the time handling it took it to consideration after i tried and told me to try again with more detail and i just neglected to return to the ban appeal there.
Anything else we should know: i have been banned on SKYRAT server for summoning romeral. (a end game antag summon item) and used that to murder some sec to turn them into zombies, was told murderboning was bad too so banned for 2 antag related activities or something. ::: got perma-banned from paradise station server for reciting WGW verbatim. ::: got temp-banned from Fulpstation for saying in ooc Cockandball torture by wikipedia pre-game lobby. thats about it. other servers i cant play due to high ping or just havent put in enough hours to learn the system they play.

You need to understand that most people go the entire length you've been here or longer between notes, if they ever get them at all. The problem isn't that you're new, it's that you have acquired:

• 20h: (8 hours later) Warned, killed someone for bad reasons
• 23h: (3 hours later) Banned from ghost roles for teamkilling as one and formally warned about the rate you were acquiring notes by Riggle.
• 32h: (9 hours later) Warned, critting someone for bad reasons
• 34h: (2 hours later) Warned, killing someone for bad reasons (abusing job tools, the bartender shotgun)
• 42h: (8 hours later) Banned, repeatedly beating the shit out of someone for bad reasons

The deconstruction of his stuff wasn't you (and I honestly have no idea what the chaplain gained from it) but it's not a factor.

We were aware of your abundant bans from elsewhere, particularly through Drag's investigation, and they were a factor in the severity of the punishment. They collectively indicate to me, alongside the bans you acquired here, a general inability or unwillingness to fully read and follow the rules of the servers you play on.

The simple fact is, you have several bans and generous warnings about your bad behavior: Killing too many people, killing people for bad reasons, killing the traitor who summoned you as a holoparasite???????????, only-mostly-killing somoene for bad reasons, then killing again because the shotgun was apparently too fun of a toy to pass up on. You apparently considered someone being transferred to the same job as you to be adequate cause to try out your CQC toy on him and at no point did you express any sort of regret, or even entertain the barest notion in your appeal that you have done anything wrong. In this last uninterrupted streak, you were warned for critting someone, did the exact same thing two hours of playtime later but worse, then did the same thing again 8 hours later. I fully believe that the only reason you didn't kill him is because he studiously avoided you for the rest of the round.

You've given me no reason to believe that you even understand what you did wrong. I'm dubious that you understand the fact that you did anything wrong at all. Nothing you've said here gives me confidence that the extremely consistent trend of attacking people for bad reasons, or no reason at all, is going to stop from anything less than a permaban.

If you believe you can convince me otherwise, please do, but what you're doing cannot continue.

i cannot convince you. not thru deep investigation or anything to give you reasons behind said "bad reasons" due to the fact i lack the means to attempt. At this point i feel i should just drop ss13 from gaming. too many complaints here and there when it is just that, a game. the lack of hours from playing on the tg servers are that they are just not satisfying thus the lack of hours. not that i push the limit of the rules nor neglect them. i just keep finding that im worst and worst as a player. so ill just leave it there. sorry if i inconvenienced anyone.

The problem isn't that you don't play much.

The problem is that when you do, you quickly find yourself in fights for a bad reasons.

You need to find some sort of interaction or roleplaying in this game that you enjoy that isn't inherently adversarial if you're going to be here, because most players don't have a suitable enemy to fight to that extent in most shifts.

If you think that's possible here, we can have a conversation about the specifics, but if you don't, you'll be better-served by waiting some time until you think you can. Does that seem reasonable?
