[philosophical] Am I metafriending too hard?

lately I've been carrying around lizard roams-the-forest, who usually plays the same job as me. I mean literally carrying them, they're basically half afk and they have a ping of 1350. all carrying them does is put me into danger. I have seem them fight an AI syndicate operative with 30 hp left. It beat roams to death slowly but easily. Is this metafriending or helping someone with a disability of 1350 ping play the game?

I spent half of 2017 doing that shit with wilchen. It's harmless enough unless you're crossing that line by say, wordlessly helping him achieve antagonist objectives or signing up as a head of department to give him benefits for being a friend. Having friends you've made in game is fine, just be kind of sporting about it.

Friends are nice, it's always been wonderful working with people you know and is definitely a fun part of playing statics. This is a role-playing game after all.

Carrying around friends is fine and my favorite round doing something very similar. As long as your not getting an unfair advantage or crossing the line doing antag shit with it its all good.

one time I saw Roams try to insult the HOS, accidentally say it in draconic, say "oh shit", try to insult the HOS but accidentally say it in draconic AGAIN, then finally get it right in galactic common.

Having friends is just part of roleplay. My interpretation is that "metafriending" only really happens if you're giving each other crazy advantages, like giving AA as HoP or whatever.

Also, it's cute. This is more important than anything else.
