Your side of the story: I was a chaplain and i wanted to do some chaplain things. I wanted to turn someone into a purified shade but i needed his consent. I asked for consent and Eddie Rugar (IC) told me i could kill him and said " fuck my shit up" and that he knew what a shade was and that i could turn him into one. He seems to know what was gonna happen to him but is lying, manipulating, or playing stupid and everyone is falling for it. He purposely tried to IC get me lynched for doing what i did with his consent read the logs the entire logs and you will see him say " im just busting your balls" referring to him framing me. He knew what he was doing and what he signed up for even forging a note he said was written by me against myself. He set me up and no one cares at all. I killed him because he lied and framed me and almost got me killed by the entire crew. I understand on Manuel i cannot do this. Well.. i understand now anyways. I am grateful it isnt a perma ban but i dont know why admin wont tell me before they ban me they just do it. The guy set me up to get arrested and now banned. Meanwhile he probably has a shit eating grin on his face. All the evidence proves he set em up. He gave me consent to kill him and turn him into a shade. He told me i could do it. Further investigations of the chat logs will prove it. And dont mean 25% of the logs if you read the WHOLE conversation you will see. I regret killing him but the thing with the shade is totally ridiculous and was a set up by him.
Why you think you should be unbanned: It was one huge IC conflict. But he took it too far by framing me in game and in Ahelp. Because he framed me and almost got me perma or dead by crew, i killed him. I feel i should be unbanned and told not to kill people unless you have a good reason. ( i thought i had a good reason but apparently not) i reallly really hope you take the time to read our entire conversation and see he staged all of this. I seriously hope you guys look into it because he framed me and if you read the logs you'll see it.

The gist of it seems to be that you asked the sec officer if they wanted to be sacrificed and they agreed, then once you began attacking him, he said you were a traitor and needed help. While I'll agree that this is not a nice thing to do, it can also be chalked up to poor communication - you never specified what you were going to do to him aside from "making him a red ghost".

I also have an issue with this gimmick in general on Manuel. It smells like banbaiting - waiting for someone to retaliate, then adminhelping if they manage to kill you. On top of that, your reaction of walking into Sec and beating the absolute piss out of him with the god hand was unreasonable for a few reasons, mainly that he was SSD, the god hand literally punches your organs out, making revival a major chore, and in all honesty, the reaction of killing him for this seems a bit far.

I'll go ahead and reduce the ban to six hours from now given the situation, but you took things much further than they needed to be taken. This could have easily been handled IC without murder being involved.

On a more personal note, I would highly recommend that you stick to our other servers. The gimmicks I've seen you use in the past are not usually fitting with our ruleset on Manuel and you would likely be happier on Sybil or Bagil.

These are good points (and peanut policy, as well, so don't delete them!).

I'm not above admitting when I've made a mistake. The perspective from my end was a fair bit different given your replies and what I had seen thus far in the round. I made a judgement call based on the situation and I'm not honestly too comfortable with the ban now, though I do understand that doesn't give you the time back you spent banned.

I'll remove the note from your account once I'm back at home, or if another admin wants to, they're more than welcome to.

Again, sorry I was a bit harsh on this one. I feel that, in hindsight, I probably should have noted you instead of the ban for the gimmick being as goofy as it was. I'll take this to heart and try to do better in the future.

Thank you all for the kind comments. I really do appreciate it. And i do admit i do pull some gimmicks but i actually have been trying hard to play on roleplay servers and to fit in and try to be serious but im not a serious person.. lmao. I appreciate the ban lift and the note because yeah while i did kill him im very happy you guys read the logs and saw that genuinely i was just trying to have fun the way ( experienced??) chaplains do. Im not gonna ask to make anyone to a shade for like a month ??
