Hot Keys Help before I go insane

Recent update did something about key bindings, I used to be able to press enter then what I want to say; but now everytime I click it seems to auto turn on hotkeys. Anyway to make the toggle hotkey button to Enter again and stop clicking from turning it back on?

Like goddam - test features before implementing. Because it's always nice to accidentally IC in OOC when the first/second letter you press in a word is an O and that nice OOC box comes up.

tWhat do you mean? tHotkey mode is fine. tYou just need to get used to it, but it's 2019 so its probably time.

There is a handy button that you can press labeled "chat" that makes everything you type in the bar already have "say" in front of it. Thats what most people using the old keybindings used.

Next you'll be telling me you right click and navigate the menus just to spawn something...

Its almost as if the command bar had multiple uses for which it can be quickly autocompleted to quick commands on the fly.

I am not sure if this is good advice, but you can go into game preferences, and change your hotkey preferences, and if that doesn't work. Just go straight to your keyboard controls and manually change them

I love how after years of playing and doing things the way i learned there are like 12 other ways to do the same thing. Some archaic and sloppy and some streamline and efficient. I have been hitting "t" and typing what i want to say all this time. I didnt realize there was a world of talking and typing available to me...

Am I a boomer in this instance? What is the millennial way to talk?

It doesn't happen because everyone uses the popup to talk
