Those are the pastebin logs (what I could get) of the round I was just perma'd in; Apparently I was perma'd for meta-communication with someone that I met in game, and have only had contact with in game. In this specific round, we needed a few security officers since there were none at round start, I went to the HOP for increased access, Kayla was there and overheard me ask the HOP to make a few new officers. Kayla was already in the HOP line and asked after she overheard me, the HOP had her go get implanted, after promoting me to HOS; After which we found out there was a cult, so we armed up and went after them, saving a few members of security before finally being overwhelmed by Juggernauts and taken down..
I don't understand - any game we have together, we only speak to each other in game: I don't even know this persons key, nor why I need to have my time wasted like this in making an account to appeal something that is a non-issue. What's your proof of metacommunication? Your observations of two players interacting with each other in game? In the logs I've posted, you can quite clearly see communication between us, it would be different if we were wordlessly running around fucking shit up but there's always communication, I'm not sure where you're pulling these accusations from.
I first met Kayla a few rounds (weeks?) back when I was new to genetics, they took the time to teach me how to do genetics quickly and since then I've had a very good experience and have built a good game friendship with them. Since then we've gotten into countless shenanigans together, fighting toe to toe, or against each other when one of us becomes an antagonist and they're killing off everyone. For instance, Kayla was one of the few security guards in a syndicate round I had the pleasure of taking part in, we walked in and slaughtered them all, she put up quite a fight and just knowing I got to kill Kayla herself was hilarious from the past rounds we've interacted in.. All of this is logged in game, all of our communication is logged in game, I'm fairly offended that I've been called a liar by someone I don't know over the internet, about playing with a player from the server they're supposed to be administrating. There are people actually breaking the rules and you focus an hour of your time doing absolutely nothing by observing us?
(Also, if we were metagaming, I wouldn't have had to beg a random drone to pick me up as a soul shard that round, if I was actually metagaming I could have had Kayla pick me up and take me around with her. Also, there would have been no need to give them an implant as I wouldn't have suspected her of anything. So I really don't see where your logic is coming from?)

PM to-Admins: Is there a rule about communicating in game with other players?
-- Administrator private message --
Admin PM from-CreationPro: There is a rule about communicating outside of it.
PM to-Admins: Thankfully that's a non-issue in this instance.
Admin PM from-CreationPro: Don't lie to me, please.

PM to-Admins: Do you have anything that proves to the contrary of what I just stated? What are - you - calling me a liar?

Admin PM from-CreationPro: Yes, yes I am.

Admin PM from-CreationPro: I dedicated almost an hour to watching you two, and I've seen enough metacomms to know what it looks like.

PM to-Admins: You're making baseless assumptions, we've communicated the entire time in game. You're stating we communicate outside of the game based on an assumption?
-- Administrator private message --
Admin PM from-CreationPro: That is not an assumption but a stout observation. Not only mine.

PM to-Admins: I'm sorry to say, but it's a wrong one. I don't know Kayla outside of the game, I don't even know this players ckey.

Admin PM from-CreationPro: I am not going to discuss it any longer. Goodbye.

As mentioned in the other thread, there were a few admins online at the time this was looked into. We checked the connection database and logs and found a consistent pattern of you two playing at the same times, and actively working together with a minimum (if any) communication between you.
As I said in the other thread, that you two are even making your appeals threads within 15 minutes of eachother is pretty blatant.
I take that back, we recently banned two other players for this within the last week and I mistook you two for them. I was not present for this. My apologies, I've made a mistake.

Please post the logs, as I'd love to point out the countless hours of communication we have logged in from each of them. And login sync times? When I joined as a security officer today, the first round, Kayla was already running around with a mime by the name of, "silent helper" with max genetics powers - evidently playing for a much longer time than me, so what in-sync times do you have exactly outside of round restarts?An0n3 wrote:As mentioned in the other thread, there were a few admins online at the time this was looked into. What's making a thread blatant of? Do you not expect people that get banned to make threads about it after it happens? Especially Kayla whom from her own thread, apparently didn't even get spoken to about it? Or is it common practice to grasp at straws and find evidence of wrong doing where there is none here?
