Your side of the story: I have no defense for my actions, any sort of feeble excuse for using BOH bombing midround as a nonantag will be easily shredded, and I'm not here to lie. I very honestly went on with a sour mood, intent on being a shitter. When backed into a corner by two mechs, I saw my chance to be a turbocunt and took it.
Why you think you should be unbanned: I'd like to start this section by apologizing to everyone I fucked with that round, I was a right prick the entire time, and very smugly proclaimed I'd willingly metagrudge people (something I've threatened in the past). On top of this, much of my actions caused the downfall of the station that round, as well as the death of (I believe) 2 Others, a few of the people sucked in did survive, but the inconvenience of this is still irrefutable. I'd also like to point out that I didn't wait this long because I only now felt like not being a shitter, but rather, I planned on waiting out the punishment for a while, as I knew I deserved it. From the second the banhamme came down, I was ready to appeal.
I'd also like to offer some context as to my behavior during this round. I was, if my memory serves me well, sleep deprived, miserable, and a tad bit salty, which doesn't excuse my behavior, but does explain its source. The other source, and please hear me out, is my experience with the game.
I've been playing for over a year now, and in that time I've learned how to powergame my way into being far more powerful than my job should be. I used to be a hardcore chaplain main, just barely scraping by with my null rod, praising khorne and not really tiding all that much. That all changed when I started playing CE. Suddenly I had the tools and the knowledge to get whatever I wanted, WHENEVER I wanted. Because of this, my interest became less and less, and I grew bored, so I pushed back, I'd powergame, I'd deliberately tide and piss people off, I'd rush for powerful gear just so I could be a bigger prick.This culminated in my endeavors into science. In a fit of stupidity and boredom, I decided to finally test the BOH meme. At the worst fucking possible time ,for the worst fucking possible reasons.
Because I allowed boredom and my own OOC mood to affect how I played, I ended up self antagging and ripping a hole in space time, and it earned me a permaban from what's inarguably the single best server there is. My behavior over the preceding weeks led up to this. A continuous, belligerent skirting of the rules to push boundaries in an effort to keep the game "fresh". This ban was a wake up call. In my time since then, I've been playing a good deal on goonstation, and rediscovered my passion for more passive, longform endeavors that last entire rounds for profoundly good rewards (adventure zones are great spirit journeys it turns out).
TL;DR: Why should I be unbanned? Because I began changing the second this ban was put in place, do not expect an immediate unban (I still think I should be banned at least until the 16th of this month), and am well and truly remorseful for my actions. I apologize if any of this is poorly worded, getting my thoughts out on "paper" isn't always easy, and I'll be very happy to further explain any part of my appeal. Thank you all for your time, and thank YOU Morto for giving my ass the kick it needed to make a good change.

I was the player that initially set off Adam's sperg-out (and temporarily banned in his place by Morto's fat fingers).
From what I can recall from this round, the clown and I were basically running the station. Capturing antags and making sure everything was working right. We had gone to R&D to do something or other before Adam showed up and stunned the clown and began beating him while screaming at us to get out.
The clown managed to get up and tase Adam, who I then cuffed, stripped and searched before we both left R&D.
About 3 minutes later, I ran into Adam again in the hallway and he threatened to BoH bomb if I got closer.
I tase Adam again, and he proceeds to lie about his intentions just after making the threat.
I drag Adam into command hallway, where he implies he's going to metagrudge me.
I take Adam to the cap's office to remove his access and designate him "Gay Retard", where Dennis makes the mistake of uncuffing him. He then immediately starts beating me with his baton and tosses out this gem.
I tase and cuff Adam again. Dennis takes him to HoP office and removes the cuffs, where this exchange occurs.
After Adam leaves I apparently tase and cuff him again before escorting him to R&D. I head back to the bridge with Dennis and call the shuttle in an attempt to save Adam from himself.
During this time, Adam has kidnapped the Warden and is holding him hostage in the RD office in an attempt to steal gear off him to get back at me. After an ionospheric anomaly passes, I ask the AI to keep an eye on Adam. The AI informs me that he has the Warden hostage and we go to help him. I realize along the way that there's a 100% chance he's going to BoH bomb to finally get back at me, so I warn Dennis and hang back while he and two mechs converge on the office.

I have not decided yet if appealing your ban is the correct path, so i will be asking about goonstation opinion about your recent behavior there.
However, i want to make it clear that even if i'm currently inclined to accept your appeal by changing the expire date to the 24th of february you will be walking on glass and any repetition of this behavior will be meet with a harsh punishment equal or slightly more soft than the permaban that was applied.
I have not decided yet if appealing your ban is the correct path, so i will be asking about goonstation opinion about your recent behavior there.

Generally permabans are not lifted so soon after being applied unless they were incorrect, generally speaking we'd want a longer history of you behaving on another server

The reason why i changed opinion was due to what seems like anger management issues from your part when you get into a conflict with another person, going as far as to threaten metagrudging another player, without caring for the rules our server has. Your actions seem to always have been done out of anger, and you don't seem able to control this emotion well enough to prevent yourself from ruining the rounds of the people you had a trouble with.
Your ban was applied on January 16, and we're currently at the time that i'm typing this on February 3. That's not even a month, and i doubt you have changed such a massive issue in a short time, even when in your own words the ban was a wake up call for you.
I hope you understand why i can't unban you, and to take this opportunity to improve yourself as well as come back next year with a good remark from another server to prove you truly changed.
