I mean, it's feedback for Coconut based on something that I talked with him about before. I don't really care how you perceive it Nilons. Really, by replying to it at all you're making it a far bigger deal than I ever thought of it.

Another case where having to wait though the formality of review is a travesty. Coconut is the best admin to come along in ages. Compassionate, patient, enthusiastic and always friendly, the answer here is clear.
Do not admin so they have more time to play Maplestory with me.
Obviously.

On the contrary, you're completely misrepresenting my post based on a misunderstanding of what I mean in a manner that feels like a snipe at myself. Maybe the depth of your misunderstanding prevents you from seeing that. Regardless, it doesn't matter, because Coconut knows what I meant :^)

Re: Trialmin Review: Coconutwarrior97
Coconutwarrior97's greatest strength is that he does indeed care for what people have to say about him. The notion that he could be doing so to an unhealthy degree is not something I can dispute, though I can say that should it get to him, he does a good job of vocalizing his concerns to others for a more mediated opinion to rationalize the irrational comments he may get. Thus I assert that his concern is not of how people feel about him, but rather a more general concern for people. His actions, both in game and out of game, have suggested pure altruism at such an astonishing degree. When I played on Sybil, my memories of him were those of an individual whose whole goal was to make the game fun for everyone. He had everyone else in mind for his gimmicks, and was genuinely dedicated in pulling them off. Outside of the game, he's shown a willingness to accept fault even under duress and harassment, when others would've easily gotten defensive and not rectified matters for the sake of saving face. His past actions show that he has not merely cared about opinions of himself, but of the general well-being of everyone- an important distinction I'd prefer be made, if it were to occupy a majority of this thread's comments. I'd rather others not get the wrong idea.
At his core, Coconutwarrior97 does not believe that there are people whose opinions do not matter. Certainly, one could bring up an absurd example and we would agree that he metaphorically wouldn't cater to this example's opinions simply because their desires are destructive to the game's entirety, but Coconutwarrior97 would still respect this individual. And he'd still be friendly with this individual. The genuine concern he has shown for people who otherwise are ostracized or divisive within the community is astounding. Though I cannot comment on his competencies as an admin, not being able to witness and scrutinize it myself, I can attest to his competencies as an individual, of which those alone are enough for me to write the one sole response I've ever made in a trialmin review in the four years I've been on these forums.
tl;dr he's good people pls promote

Very much appreciate the effort they put into being a helpful influence on the server. I have had warning and comments that were justly handled as well as felt i was heard when sending in ahelps. Top notch all around. I play better as a result.

Re: Trialmin Review: Coconutwarrior97
Where do I begin? This exotic drupe has the qualities of a great person, a great admin and and a great gamemaster.
It should go without saying thanks to the glowing praise already in this thread, but there is a reason why players and admins alike have praised the Coconut Combatant. He puts forward a consistently friendly attitude without coming off as desperate or disingenuous. He loves the game and has demonstrated his desire to make it better by through his work on github and by making the first move to chat with players about what they want to see in the game. His personable attitude and dedication are not the only reasons he is well-liked, however.
As an admin, he has expressed humility and good judgement in both his handling of ahelps and appeals. This warrior of a nuciferian has received heaps of adulation, both in and outside this thread, and I hope he stays humble despite it. I also hope that as his friends become more numerous in number, he continues to keep things fair and not play favourites. He's got a good head on his shoulders.
But of course, I cannot end this without mentioning his fantastic good sense when it comes to playing a game master for SS13. Every admin intervention, every event, big and small, has been a blast. The key to his approach, I think, is that he never takes the reins away from the players. He genuinely enjoys seeing everyone have fun and letting the little chaotic stories unravel on their own. A Coconut event doesn't need to be ostentatious or shift-monopolizing for the round to be memorable for everyone, and other admins can learn a lot from him in this respect. Coconut would be welcome to GM a tabletop session for me and my buddies anytime.
TL;DR Coconut has a good attitude, good judgement and good talent as a gamemaster. Promote!
