Your side of the story:
Round starts, I do my standard stuff as warden and go check the armory, get my locker stuff, and then say hello to the security team. Within about 5 minutes or so I hear someone say over the comms 'Why is the brig walled off?'. I go and check, and the entirety of the brig and all three cells are walled completely off. I run outside and see some naked guy with no ID and an RCD, so I shoot him with my shotgun a few times to stop him before more walls can be placed. I couldn't see any reason that someone would be walling off the brig if they were not an antagonist, assuming that this was some sort of strange tactic by a rev head or something.

According to Coconutwarrior, the first person that was holding an RCD that I shot was not an antag, and they were just someone who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and holding the RCD. This seemed extremely suspicious to me, since it happened so fast and at the very start of the round.

A few minutes after I shoot that person, I hear Ryan Cobb boasting over the comms 'I WALLED OFF THE ENTIRE BRIG AND BRIDGE, WHAT A PRANK!' or something along those lines. I can go and find the exact logs if it's necessary.

He gets caught by an officer later on and brought into the brig in near-crit, and then when I inspect him it says that he was catatonic (disconnected). Seeing as he was the one who took credit for walling off the entire brig, I hit him with a harmbaton a few times and put him in the morgue.

Why you think you should be unbanned: I don't see what the issue is with treating players that do something like the above as an antagonist. There's no justifiable, in-character reason to wall off the entire brig and bridge at the start of the round unless you are an antagonist. If security had been abusing you the entire round, then I can see a reason for it and would actually find it to be pretty hilarious and well-deserved.

Also, Ryan Cobb has a previous permanent ban for self-antagging, as seen here: https://tgstation13.org/phpBB/viewtopic ... 34&t=19511. I think this has relevance, since this seems like self-antagging to me. I'm not sure if it's allowed to bring up the bans of other players in ban appeals.

To me, it feels like I was just successfully ban baited.

Here's Cecil shooting the clown all three times. No speech from the clown prior, no interaction with others. Hard to verify the story, but the clown also made no attempt to protest their kill.

Yeah I don't really think I did anything banworthy. I gave Ryan absolutely no mercy because he was bragging on comms about it. He even says in the log that he 'hates to be the guy who leaves when he gets caught' and then immediately leaves.
Also the clown was totally naked and I'm pretty sure I have seen clown's lynched for not wearing shoes.
I think I accidentally hit the clown's body while trying to move him into the morgue tray or something.

Overall this reads like a mixture of "imperfect people playing imperfectly with imperfect knowledge" as well as a fairly straightforward case of greytiding.

I will say that I'm not thrilled about you reaching for the shotgun rather then the tazer from the get go, when you weren't even sure who had done the walling. Part of our Security Policy includes:

Rule 1 of the main rules apply to security. The only exception is that security is generally considered to be armed with non-lethal methods to control a situation. Therefore, where reasonably possible, security is expected to use non-lethal methods first in a conflict before escalating to lethal methods.

That said, I can understand making a split second decision and I'm not going to defend someone being naked and IDless around a crime scene, it's suspicious behaviour, so I'm going to say these two facts cancel each other out in this instance.

Ryan was a bit more clearcut, he confessed to the crime/"prank", and for the purposes of our rules a ghosted player is functionally identical to a suicide (the only difference is that ghosted players don't set off deadmen switches and you can ghost while cuffed), and so at the point when he ghosted he had no reasonable expectation that security would treat his catatonic body well, even if he hadn't been guilty of a crime that severely disrupts security/command.

Overall, I'm going to say this is a no fault, and approve the appeal and removing of the associated note from your history. Please do take into account though that you shouldn't be whipping out the shotgun as the first resort, especially since it's pre-loaded with lethal rounds, not rubbershot.
