Stealing a traitor's ID, using his last TC to buy a syndicate key, then going incognito as a traitor to gain their trust.
It ended up not working because A: The AI was subverted, B: I was the HoP, and C: the captain decided to go on a rampage against the traitor who had literally been baiting syndicate salvage teams onto the station.
I mean, it worked, I gained their trust, but I couldn't get close enough to them for long enough to take them out... Fun RP nonetheless.

People who do that are typically new and are still learning how wiring works, which is forgivable. Anyone else who does it deserves a special place in engi hell.
The trick is to use the rapid cable layer and then don't care if you make a mistake. All maps stock enough cable sitting right on the solars to set them up.
I played AI on lowpop thinking it'd be a nice easy way to test out how AI works without a lot of pressure or demand
