It looks like a good way to speed up the process and eventually come up with a law that could even result in a better status for the "dreamers".

Now this probably doesn't fulfill the "revenge fantasy" of a few fanatics but it seems like good politics to me.

What's bad about the children and the families? Are the any of the targeted children now adults? Do they not integrate? Is there a dual nationality for the children?
