Catgirls are a mistake

Comparatively to other roundstart species, they have a lot less work put into them. Most likely, this is because they were supposed to be a proof of concept for another, less autistic human customization system. Their only mention on the wiki is the rules page, they reuse assets, and overall they could probably replaced with a better system, such as tattoos.

Head patting, Slapping, and the Xeno Maid, I don't really care about though

Get rid of round start Cat People please.

Of all the races we have on offer at round start, Cat People have literally no thought put into them as to why they exist. Lizardmen and Plasmamen have a extensive (by our standards) lore and reason as to why not only they exist, but as to why they are hired by Nanotrasen to staff top secret space stations. In addition Cat People are the laziest race to exist in the game. While Lizardmen are simple, but they have extensive mechanics and physical differences to set them apart from Humans in a very significant way, Plasmamen are essentially playing a entirely different game in their implementation.

Cat people are just Human wearing cat ears. Almost no difference whatsoever to a standard Humans sans they don't count as a Human for Silicon laws.

Which is another issue I raise, considering how Cat People look almost virtually identical to Humans, I oft run into issues where their Humanity is on question where it never should be.

If Cat People actually looked non-human there would be no issue, but they are just unimaginative. They have two sets of ears, their human ears and some shitty cat ears, a tail with literally no functional purpose (Humans don't need them), for some reason female cat people only have two breasts and they have no fur whatsoever, etc, etc, etc.

Polls or popularity otherwise I always hoped we drew the line in the sand when it came to such shitty content. We used to make fun of people suggesting cat people as a round start race, yet they just get added in over the years. Slippery slope is a correct argument when it turns out to be true.
