You can fulfill the full plasma tank objective by emptying out an oxy tank and filling it full of plasma. I think this also might work on jetpacks, but I've never had the chance to test.

But that takes way more time than just clicking once on a beaker with another beaker. The point here is that you have an almost-instant and easily-spammable method of creating smoke without sacrificing the clown for a Smoke spell book.

Everyone knows that lockers, due to their shape and construction, are naturally resistant to all forms of magic.

Did you know that if you're augmented enough to no longer breathe (i was in full augs when I discovered this), you can't die from 'bleeding out' as it were? If put into crit and then left alone you'll just sit there until you either Succumb or are rescued.

To follow up on lockers I'm pretty sure you can also trap magic missiles inside the lockers and bullets as well.
Once trapped you can open them up and pick up the bullets.

If you put laser tag guns in a turret frame and construct it, the turrets will activate on people holding the opposing color gun, or wearing an opposing color vest.

Re: Little things you learned that are game changing
I wanted Augmented arms to do more damage.
But the code is horrible enough with Hulk doing it.
But yeah aug shit:
- Less damage on limbs
- Repair with Wires and Welder (Burn = Wires, Brute = Welder)
- Can't be a Xeno host with an Aug'd chest
- Auging a chest cures all viruses that affect the chest, like appendicitis
- Immunity to Chemistry healing (May also be immunity to Chemistry damage as well)
There's some stuff I forgot too.
The bleeding out thing is technically a bug because it's a side effect to one of the damage immunities augs have.
It can stay though, considering it *should* only happen with full augs.

Or we can make some assumptions that the actual process for attaching an augmentation to a human involves surgically removing the majority of the subjects entire body mass down to the spinal column, using "advance technology" to keep the adjutant head, arm's and legs functional. At which point a custom made metal chest is slowly grafted and attached to the now bare spine.

They let you light your cig with the welder, so it's safe to say they'd allow that as well.
Dunno why you'd be in the supermatter engine room in the first place though, as an assistant.

No but any robust qm can use his pda and quick thinking and knowledge of how the bot would path to any of the selectable destinations to just stand on the top and tell it to go in the direction he wants to run people over.

You can screwdriver them open and then use an ID on them with a certain access (no idea what one) to change their codes.

Re: Little things you learned that are game changing
Yesterday, I learned how much bullshit a Miner can pull -WITHOUT SCIENCE HELP :
-Goliath Plates. I don't think i can stress that enough. You put 3 of those on your mining suit, BAM - 80% Brute resistance. Get a Sec Jumpsuit? Make that 90%. Getting fully augmented? Bravo, you're now a walking juggernaut that cannot get any kind of brute damage. You could walk into a asteroid and not give a flying fuck. Ho, you have double-esword? That's nice, I'll just pickaxe your head in.
-Hivelord Cores : AKA your own medical department. Nom one to get fully healed. Considering how easy it is to kill hivelord, it's a pretty good reward.
And then there's the goodies from the dispenser :
-Stim Pills (350 points) : This would be the assistant wet dream. Chug one pill of those, and you'll be zooming about in full gear. And when I mean zooming, I mean, pre-speednerf zooming. Chug all the bottle, and you'll be doing it for a while - mainly because you only lose a fixed quantity of chem per tick, it's not dependant on how much chem you have in your body. I think the hyperzine also shortens stuns, but not actually sure about that tidbit.
-Lazarus Injector (1000 points) : Want to have a pet Goliath? Yeah, sure, go ahead, he'll help you cleaning the asteroid out. Want to kill him again for his plates? Totally possible.
-Jetpack (2000 points) : Into space we go. Even better, consider that Miners are given GPS - so you can actually know where the hell you're going. Can be worn in the exo slot of your rig.
Consider that with a good haul (about a stack of everything, diamond excluded), you'll be sitting around 4000-5000 points, which is plenty enough to get the stuff you want. After that, the station is pretty much yours.

The mining voucher is supposed to be used to help out new miners, although since there are only three hardsuits it's kind of silly.
Anyway, here's mine: Soda cans and coffee cups work like beakers that don't display their ingredients. Someone who's been cryostung will probably not object to being forcefed coffee. Do the math.

You can smelt all ores except plasma and gibtonite with welder. It takes 16 fuel though, plus 1 to turn welder on, so you cannot really smelt much without a tank of welding fuel. With ore smelter in cargo it's not much of an issue, but it still can be useful for sneaky HONK mech.
