Your side of the story:

Birdboat, 5 people at round start. Was Captain, 3 of us voted to blow up station. One of the abstainers was a Mime, so he couldn't say AYE over the radio.

Why you think you should be unbanned:
Given the server rule "New rule test: The captain is now empowered to run events as if they were a pseudo admin. Casualties will be excused so long as the "events" are creative/in good fun. Try not to run this into the ground." and low population/consent of the crew, I figured it would be fine. Even if it were not, an entire week seems excessive. It didn't even actually blow up.

It was still salvageable at any time, or the secondary engine could have been used. The actual engineer didn't seem concerned.

I purposefully put the vent out to space rather than into the station for precisely that reason. Nobody likes plasma leaks. The hole that lead to engineering was out there afterwards by "Donald Trump" who knocked me out, busted a hole into the SM containment, killed us both, and then started insulting me in deadchat.

As an aside, I was also trying to freaking learn how the SM engine even works. The last round I played on bird we almost blew up by accident, so I figured a controlled demolition would let me figure out what not to do. It's just irony that the time I do try and purposefully get it to blow up, it fails to do so and I get smacked down.

Logs, logs, read the logs. I saved at least the HoP, IIRC. I really don't get the hostility. I've been open about what happened, I didn't start coming in here yelling SAR BANNED ME FOR NO RAISON. This game is all about doing dumb shit just for shits and giggles. That shaft miner actually made things worse by exposing the SM to the station proper, leaking plasma everywhere. Do I need to go dig through the public logs to show my side? This "I don't buy it" line is a load of crap.

I agree with the initial ban, I should not have done what I did. I only disagreed about the length of ban. I'm not sure why this is a huge deal for you. I'm attempting to be civil and you are flying off the handle and threatening further bans.
