Have they announced how they are gonna fix symmy yet? One of the devs said they were testing stuff in house like a month ago but I haven't seen anything about it since. She's an okay hero for pub matches but in competive she and torb just get rolled and spend most of the round waiting to spawn.

You can say what you want about the game itself- I'd say it's not even that great because I'm not into '6v6 matchmaking press Q to pretend you're skilled' stuff

But the brawl for halloween is pretty neat, though it gets repetitive
Basically TF2's MvM stuff. Except you don't have to pay to get shit out of it

Face stabs, Demoknights and flip-flop balancing patches ruined TF2. Pyros were about the best thing TF2 had.

In Planetside 2 I generally play infiltrator with a close quarters build.
Sniping is something I also do up close, at least compared to ordinary snipers.

to be honest nothing "ruined" tf2, it's still great, the only thing to really hurt it was the rough launch of matchmaking (which works pretty well now). definitely a lot of stupid bullshit though like random crits

Nah, the cosmetics being completely un-fitting pieces of junk was more damaging to it than a lot more than people realize

Aside from that, it was all about finding a good server with decent people in it. That was the hardest part, and without it you weren't going to have as good a time.

After the first 3 or so months

Just wasn't worth spending more time on and whenever I look at it or come back to it, I just see that nothing substantial new has happened and there is no reason to play it for me

The halloween arcade is fun but I don't get why they picked mcree over reinhardt since they had two offensive heroes and the map is his fucking native map. Relying on ana for heals also reminds me just how bad at healing she can be if she doesn't have a bullet sponge infront of her

There's a website that's been going for like 3 months now with a percentage counter sloooowly increasing (at around 1% a day). It finally hit 100, and what happened? Another meaningless Spanish sentence. People are going apeshit. Last time I've seen a community this riled up is Dead by Daylight. There was a huge ARG around this too, with so many tiny hints towards it (starting from binary code in one of the shorts) that led towards that website, and now there's literally nothing. The trail's gone cold.

IIRC the castle was Eichenwalde or what ever the new level is called but it takes place in an alternate timeline. The actual castle isn't important but the 4 player characters are the only 4 defenders left.

It was a decent enough experiment and if blizzard makes more PvE scenarios and maps I wouldn't be disappointed as long as there was a bit more freedom in class choice as well as larger maps. Just have to keep an eye on future updates and see how balance changes roll out and if/when sombra ever gets released.

Mercy is a pretty damn potent healer and get a damage boost to boot. She could use a buff but her ult is so damn good in the right hands I don't see that ever happening. I'd rather have an okay Mercy on my team then a pro Ana.

Lucio is quote unquote the 'best' healer because of his theoretical 60hp/s with bursts to 240hp/s to the entire team which makes him great against Pharahs and Junkrats who might being a fair mount of aoe, but against high damage to a single target he's basically worthless and his team is better of sticking near the medkits.His ult isn't anything to write home about with it deteriorating so fast.

Zenn is a bad healer imo but a great secondary attacker with his debuff. Orb heal is only 30hp/s so he's somewhat better than Lucio for applying emergency aid but your target needs to stay in your line of sight or its only partial heal. Great for an offensive push as it lets your tank/primary hitter keep the heat on but past that he's at best a secondary healer. Though without mobility skills and his ult rarely being used by the team to push he's just an attacker who can target heal in my book.

Ana is in theory the best healer, 75 hp per shot and capable of 62hp/s sustained healing for short bursts which she can double with a biotic grenade hit, she's got a lot going for her. Problem is 90% of Ana's forget they are support and run around shooting enemies more than their allies so the only way to get healing is to block her shots with your body. That or they just can't aim for shit and all those healing bullets meant for you hit the guy next to you or the wall leaving you high and dry without hp. Lacking any kind of mobility also makes her harder to work with as getting out in the open for her to shoot you for heals means you're equally likely to be exposing yourself to enemy fire.
