The thing about the WOW DICK TRACY PHONE WATCH thing is that when those comics came out it wasn't normal to carry a communication device on your person at all times. That it was disguised as a watch is irrelevant, the holyshitscifigadget part was the fact that he had a mobile telephone at all.

I was set to receive two packages today

Both came through the USPS

The first one was delivered at about 11ish, which is fine

The second one's tracking info SAID it was put into my mailbox and all that, but when I went and checked, nothing in the mailbox proper, and no key to the package locker
(It's one of those communal mailbox racks you see in trailer parks and the like, so small actual mailboxes, and if you get a package they put a key in your box to open one of the big boxes)

So, it's likely it was put in someone else's mailbox
Not really an issue here because people generally hand deliver it at that point because everyone knows the postmen here lack more than a few braincells

Well, it's being shipped from Hong Kong, and it's in the mail system--it's listed as being prepared for shipment by China Post. I've got stuff from this seller before and they're great with customer service (the replacement tube for the "It Is What It Is" sign), but it's not really in their hands any more. I also ordered a "Bring on the Night" sign from them, which hasn't been listed as being shipped, but I assume they're shipping them together--or at least I hope.
