Title: I was banned for metacommunication
Skorvold Metacommunication misunderstanding.

Ban reason and length: Metacommunication Perma
Time ban was placed (including time zone):
Your side of the story: Skorvold didn't let me explain myself and this is why I posted so quickly, we were NOT using steam or TeamSpeak to gain an "edge" over other players, we were strictly using it for teaching purposes and just general communication. My friend that I have IRL dragons 575 is fairly new and like any good friend I figured I would teach him how to play in the great game of SS13, turns out he isn't one much for Role Playing and didn't even care to read the rules. And we tried to play with him and he immediately went captain, started beating me (in fact almost killed me twice) gave up his spare ID to one of my other friends, and started to fight me without being provoked. After me taking to trips to the medbay to get healed I decided that even my in-game character would be pissed and seek revenge. And seek revenge I did I slipped him with a blue tomato and stripped him of everything. I wasn't even talking to him in-game because I was tired of his shit. So I started walking around with him and dropped him off at the medbay. After this I was banned without even being able to explain myself. Permanently....
Why you think you should be unbanned: I feel since I was being grieffed by my own friend, and I wasn't able to explain my actions, I think it was a bit unfair, so I posted it here. Also FantasyAngel54 we were on opposite ends of the ship when all of this happened so we had no other reason to communicate In-game or Out of game about anything. Before hand I spoke to an admin TheGel, because he asked us if we knew each other I explained I was trying to help them learn the game, Dragons 575 was grieffing me and I protected myself.

Re: Metacommunication: Skorvold
Metacommunications is generally no tolerance, and while Gel had updated me on the situation when I showed up I felt that a ban would be necessary on all of you given some information from another player at that time.
We're pretty no tolerance on any Metacomms, so I am sticking to this ban.

Hi guys! I observed this round last night and the one before it..... I caught on pretty instantly in the first round when I watched not one random person but two walk into botany saying not a single word all shift you stumble upon a dead body and instead of yelling for help and trying to get this body out of there you attempt to hide it in a closet. The. Proceed back out to the main botany room and stand with him for 15 minutes completely silent before the third party donal comes in. Again not a single greeting between you and after a bit of walking around he finds the murdered girl and his reaction? He kicked her and walked back out to stand there silent with you two the rest of the round.
You say you are teaching him how to play spessmen and trust you but looks like you taught him the complete opposite. One of you murdered as a non antag. Both of you assisted the murder. And you tried to cover it up.
At round start next round we watch you walk right up to the captain and get his spare without a word exchanged and it just got worse.

Yeah, there was metacommunication but intentional, i mean we were all connected through steam talking to eachpther but, we didnt thinks Dragons575 would give my friend his ID. My partner in botany was gone most of the round dickig around with the captain ID and all I was going was growing tomatos. There was a lot of communication since when he was in botany he was either afk or leaving. I suggest a teamspeak server with an admin monitoring like other servers. So then you could speak to each other using voice and admins would make sure there is no meta. A teamspeak server would be nice. And maybe a reduction. I mean I could invite an admin into our steam chats if they wanted too. It wasn't meant to gain an edge over other players.

How about that nonantag murder you committed and all your friends got in on. Meta-communications aren't allowed period. You can talk to your friends but you cannot discuss anything about the current round or game. And its best to avoid it anyways just in case because with our close friends its much more likely we slip. That one slip leads to more. Its straight up cheating. Its giving you an unfair advantage in a video game. And them knowing and assisting with a nonantag murder(one even kicked her) is pretty fucked up. Your communications and friendship cost a player an entire round. I watched the entire thing and none of you looked even slighted at the murdered player because they weren't one of the friends in your group. Add in the all access you gave out. One of you went hos so you all had armory access. And it was low pop. Your group of four was more than a third of the entire pop. The communications and the collaboration in game was way out of line and completely unfair to all the other players.

I never even saw the body. It sounds unlikely I know, but my friend was acting like a jackass thinking this was a game where you could just kill whoever, and it is not. All I am asking for is one more chance, I really enjoy this server and if knew if there was any chance of me gettjng permanently banned I would have not of done it.

Why don't you take a minute and repost the truth because lying about it just make you look bad if you own up to it we can at least appreciate that you are telling the truth. Everyone breaks rules. But I have screenshots of every member of your group with the body. And all of you failing how to figure out how to put it in a locker. I'll let you respond and then I'll share the rest of the screenshots if necessary.
