Finally had an actual ash walker round that did not involve everyone dying/attacking the station/being converting to revs/gangs/cults

not shown:the guy who drank all our alcohol used for anesthetic used in surgery passed out in the bed in our survival pod, and the chasm we threw a traitor into who tried to outcool my hat (people still thought my hat was better than his welding helmet) I accidentally found a golem ship and tried to stop people from actually advancing technologically, and I sort of managed, with the only things we got being the resonators, surgical tools, survival pod, and the welding helmet on the traitor I killed.
The best part was when the welding helmet guy, in his past life, found tarot cards and immediately used them and immediately afterwards died, causing us to lose the tarot cards altogether and he blamed ME when he used another egg. we managed to actually get a decent surplus of eggs by the time the round ended.

I found(made) a haunted Mecha.

It was piloted by one of my Mecha Pilot AI mobs, but I killed it and this deletes the pilot (spawning a loot corpse, as usual)
Except... this time, just this once, the mecha is moving somehow.
The pilot is gone, dead and deleted, I even checked the garbage collector's queues, nothing.

I was allowed to test out some surgery in the thunderdome, I made a xeno-human hybrid. After I was transferred into it I was pretty much a queen. The burster became a hunter, but I'm sure you can have double "queens" if you're able to get your hands on a dead one. Good luck doing this out of a controlled environment though.

After a long shift of extended, the ship was hit by an iceberg out of nowhere. There was no time to turn the station and it tore a hole in the departures lounge. There was little time. The station started taking on space at a alarming rate. Red alert was declared and most of the lifeboats escape pods launched as soon as they were able. Creaky noises and alarms were blaring and the ship station lost all power and lights. This was blasting in the background as the last lifeboat escape shuttle docked. The surviving crew managed to drill through the iceberg and make it to safety. Only 6 managed to evacuate on a crew of 40.

And by 'all' I mean 'a general cross-section of the actual total'. I only wish I'd started taking them sooner, back when things were even more different than today. I was expecting to see less plasma fires and station destruction as time rolled on, but... not really? I mean, it still happens a bunch now, I dunno.

And all those fucking custom ships. All of them. Wasn't no 'import template' command back then, it was a pipe-dream we talked about as we toiled for upwards of a literal hour just to make a shuttle while everyone in the round bitched about getting bored, then let the singulo out to render it all truly pointless- ahem.

I still remembered a lot of this stuff but some of it had totally slipped my mind, which is probably understandable. Anyhow, almost every image has some kind of context, story behind it, thing you can discern by looking at the details, etc. "Why is the clown cuffed? Why is that door bolted?" SS13 has that quality of generating endless stories about That Round Where X happened, from admin fuckery, to actual trials(!), to players renovating the brig with new floors, to that time somebody made a Nazi sign in paint in Escape, to Plasma Flood 573. All part of the beautiful tapestry of TG.
