Gottem
I wake up at like 9:00 on Mondays so I'm usually set all Monday.

GottemYeah watching the dev stream, something about the universe being all packed full of life just seems so cozy compared to the games I'm used to. Having a hundred different republics and empires dotted across the map, embroiled in their own conflicts is so much livelier than the four different empires I'm used to in Endless Space.Incomptinence wrote:Apparently there is meant to be a hot seat function where people can just come in and take control of AIs if they want. Sounds like something that would glitch though.
Also precursors are neat and I think primitives would pop up to star flight anyway.
I wonder if it's possible for an empire to go full Cybran Nation.Steelpoint wrote:One more for the triple post.
According to the developers, if you give Sentient AI's within your empire full rights and work to fully integrate them into your empire, then the chances of them joining in a end game AI revolution decrease. However if they do chose to then your in massive trouble, especially if half your empire suddenly revolts.
I didn't know you would be interested in this kind of game.Tsaricide wrote:Don't forget me an0n3, we're still friends right?

You're EST too, IIRC?
That puts six of us in relatively the same time, K64 says he'll join us at AMERICA HOURS for seven.Tsaricide wrote:No I'm pstAn0n3 wrote:I didn't know you would be interested in this kind of game.Tsaricide wrote:Don't forget me an0n3, we're still friends right?

If we can get a time that works Steelpoint and Incomptinence could join for eight and nine.

We're going to get as many day-1 purchasers/preorders together for one big inaugural multiplayer game where nobody fully knows what they're doing and everything will probably explode.starmute wrote:Everyone is playing together?
I pre-ordered it already. Do you have a steam group for it?An0n3 wrote:Skorvold wrote:How big will our map be?
Since we seemed to vote YES to AI, I'll take however many human players want to go in and then double or triple that number and pick a map sized for that many empires. Hoping that that's how they label the maps, anyway.

on the arrival shuttle, I saw the iconic toolbox on the ground. I clubbed myself in the head with it trying to figure out the controls.
Setting the tool box, now bloodied, back on the table; I went to heal myself with a medkit. I clubbed myself in the head with that too.
I've come a long ways from asking how to switch hands.

As for sedentry should be mostly okay? I mean they can still fart offspring to fill up tiles I guess.
Absolute worst might be non adaptive and slow breeders which will most likely create an exponentially worse expansion and development gap. Moving guys more slowly is probably better than them not existing yet.
Worst ethos is individualism I think, ironically incompatible at fanatic with the oligarchy that increases energy production, removes an enormous number of options: slavery (which being decadent and or xenophobic can bring back), forced migration, preventing free migration, they will probably piss themselves in anger if you don't accept migration treaties and the +20% energy bonus wont even stick because apparently freedom is like a mutagen. Plus in case of your loss no slaver will want to keep your pops around due to are freedumb tantrums and they are super judgemental over a slew of policies so purge target #1.
