I get that this is a polarizing subject and that the admins may feel differently about it than the players, but I don't think that makes HG going "I disagree with this opinion, so I'm going to lock this thread" acceptable. All he's doing is making an ass out of himself and driving a wedge between the players and admins. If you disagree with this, explain why.

Thread reminder that since 2011 or maybe even the founding of tg, admins have never been obliged to or removed for not looking into ban requests, with the sole anomalous exception of my time as headcuck and only then because i promised to. Even then i had help because it was tedious work.

Reminder that admins looking into requests is not their """"""""""job"""""""""""" but a voluntary act of naivety or a grudgingly committed expenditure of patience.

Please ensure when arguing for the return of the forum to use correct facts.

Looking into player disputes and resolving them is half of what an admin is supposed to do. Nobody held a gun to your head and told you that you had to babysit a bunch of autists. If this is too much to handle, don't be an admin.

I was actually considering pledging 10 bucks or so a month until HG muted me on the forums. If he wants to run the server into the ground, he can pay for it.

What people usually when they go into the ban request forums is that they'll have the 'I NEED A VIAL OF BLOOD FROM THEM AND A SIGNED APOLOGY LETTER HAND WRITTEN IN THEIR BLOOD, AND THEN BAN THEIR ASS!' mentality.

So I got a compromise.

Set strict rules on how you handle the 4 no raisin forums.

Rule 1 is Global rule
Self explanatory

Rule 2 is formatting
What you guys had was good enough.

Rule 3 is that you need to provide evidence via logs
Once (If ever) logs are back up you bring the evidence if you are salty enough

Rule 4 is that you have to bring everything. Including what you did.
No 'THIS FUCKER KILLED ME 4 NO RAISIN, I WAS JUST SITTING THERE.' When you were actually in the captains office.

Rule 5 is if an admin has come to a conclusion on what happens to the offender, you will accept it and move on.

If you want this back and the guy up top says no this sort of thread is pointless. It's just going to get closed. You've got to add incentive, make a thread that goes "Here is how much I donate a X, and until Y is done it's not being donated anymore" and see how many others feel the same.

Well it's been 6 years, with 4 hosts, and probably 200~ admins, and FNR has been persistently avoided by almost all those people over all this time. Not sure where these plenty of people have been all this time.

People call for admins to tend to ban requests until they themselves become an admin and do it. Then they understand why it's on the backburner.

It promotes dumb drama over stupid shit that happened beforehand and some people just can't get over it. It works when people just want an apology or an explanation from the other party but, let's face it, that shit rarely happened. It was either two raging asspies who couldn't let go of a thing that happened in a round or weird as fuck community drama. That promoted someone to stalk someone ooc and dox them for admins which, while understandable, is fucking disgusting. Hiring an autist to find info on people ooc on the offchance they're metagaming in a free 2d spacegame is fucking something alright.
