Creating a separate thread so we don't clog up others.

Azari and I are going to embark on weekly adventures into fucking dogshit free-to-play MMO's and document them via stream/youtube. You're welcome to come along on these hellrides. Bonus points if you know some potential destinations.

We'll be playing Tuesday evenings at 9pm EST. We'll be hanging out in the /tg/ teamspeak (unless that's a problem for folks, then we'll figure something else out.)

Our first game is going to be the titty-monster extravaganza that is Scarlet Blade, and it kicks off this Tuesday, the 5th. Oh boy.

This piece of shit seems to be only 2.5gb if that helps. I'm not sure if that's everything or if the game is going to update further after the install.

I'm not sure how much space the developer can cram tits into, but if anyone is an expert on filling gigs on a HDD with tits it's probably the lonely fucks who made this game.

If you don't want to be arsed to bother downloading all this botnet bullshit masquerading as a free korean grinding simulator we are streaming this garbage for you to watch as well.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll take a look a Rappelz and see. I noticed Steam has a bunch of really shitty free to play post-apocalyptic STALKER wannabe titles too.

Speaking of Scarlet Blade, I heard that they have a literal strip club in this game. I also heard that there's like a $20 package you can buy that allows you to make your character completely naked while still having the benefit of armor.

the game options don't let me set the game to 1280x720 (aka 720p, my standard) so if recording works you'll get it in 1280x800 instead
haven't tested recording yet, will do just now and update

e: tested it out, OBS dropped from 32fps to around 11-16fps. the footage is choppy, but it can still be used. currently rendering the 11 minute recording and i'll up it on PB as unlisted. minimal editing too, so enjoy the """""""jokes"""""""
if you want the footage of tuesday then make a choice before then and hope that i see it

i'll record in 1366x768 instead of 1280x800, at least then it's still on a 16:9 size instead of a 16:10.

I usually get enough garbage recorded for me to use all by myself. If you want to record something to use for your own purposes by all means go right ahead.

I don't need you to, if that's what you're asking? I probably wouldn't end up using anything you would record since I get enough garbage by myself, and if it's impacting your own game performance so much that you can't "enjoy" the game it might not be a great idea.

I got it to work on Windows 10 after some minor hiccups.

It's... generic.

I mean, it looks pretty decent, and, ridiculous jiggling and innuendos aside, seems a pretty standard sci-fantasy MMO. It's playable, insofar as I can tell having fiddled around with it for 20-odd minutes. Just gratuitous.
