Yeah I'm not going to any of the links on that page, fuck that. Though redditors are saying that it was apparently open source...? I don't actually know anything about Yog.

The r/SS13 admins appear to have removed the reddit post linked in the OP from the front page of their subreddit so that nobody sees it. It's pointless damage control, to be honest.

I made sure to get on my really shitty 5 year old laptop before I even went there. I got virus protect too so I should be fine.

It wasn't like that before. Huh, I guess the guys at Yog had their provider reset their website. Or the dude that hacked it had it reset to google.


I didn't manage to get a screengrab of it either, darn. I would've blotted out the doxxing tho

It's all sort of fixed for the interim, just got done tidying up what I could. Not sure if the current installation will ever be secure again (you never can be, unfortunately). Apparently it was over our source not being open, which makes no sense at all, because we're AGPL.

remember when /tg/station got DDoSd and some guy showed up on the forums who claimed he did it and he wouldn't shut up about "packets"? I wonder if he's gonna try to claim credit for this too

he backtraced the server's MAC address and used it to penetrate their IP using corrupt packets

was pretty tough, he had to get a friend to help him type on the same keyboard to pass the firewall before the NSA traced his hack
