What makes a good map? What parts of existing maps do people like?
Lately I've had a few ideas for stations in my head. The most fleshed out one would be a sort of... Deep Space Nine inspired station, that would feature 3 larger docking bays, and have the kitchen, bar, and theatre at the heart of the station to reflect an atmosphere of Nanotrasen ships stopping for ...

Re: Where did the AI announcement lines come from?
I was under the impression that that project was only able to generate the rougher voice lines used for the vox, and could do some phrases- didn't think that it did the longer ones
edit: qustinnus says that they were voice acted. For historical purposes, I'd love to know who did them or how they ...

Where did the AI announcement lines come from?
See title; I've been curious lately on where these actually came from, when the AI announces that the emergency shuttle has docked, meteors are colliding with the station, etc? Is this a voice actor being run through some filters, or a text to speech?

It's been a good few years since I played on the server everyday. Remie, Lindsey, Miku, I don't remember his name but he had a dino in a suit as his avatar...
But it is nice coming back and seeing familiar names. MrPerson, peoplearestrange, still MSO, and others.

Re: Steelstation (AKA: Shitty_Station13)
That looks really good, I'm liking that there's no door in between the office and the bay.
A few suggestions: A longer conveyor belt to feed into the shuttle, a little more belt for the mail room, and maybe a nice window into space for the QM office?
Love the work you've been doing so far.

This is looking cooler and cooler every time I look at it. I love the underground maint, and the shuttle bay also looks really great so far.

Re: Steelstation (AKA: Shitty_Station13)
I really like the idea of having a cleaner station on top and hiding the wiring below. It's always felt kind of weird to me that the station is basically surrounded by maint on the outside. Would it be possible for piping and wiring to be below? It might give some more thoughts to traitors on what ...

Re: [POLL] Hackable suit sensors
What if the suit sensors reported the same coordinates / life signs as a copy of someone else on the station? They'd still change, but it wouldn't be noticeable without looking hard at the console's records.
