For example, let's say I feed a magicarp a love potion, and then give it a sentience potion. Does that potion still have an effect on the now-sentient creature, or do I need to administer docility/love/etc potions post-sentience?

Make all-in-one grinders constructable, or add a ghetto version of them (ie. a kitchen blender). It seems like it'd be a fairly simple construction, since all it does is grind up whatever you put in it into a liquid paste.
