Slammed through the story and I'm on New Game+. It carries the torch very very well so I'm pretty happy with the game overall. I can't recommend it to everyone though. I think a lot of people are going to be completely dumpstered by the difficulty spikes the game has with certain bosses.

It's one of my favorite new features of the game in a while. It really helps to hear a voice and not always have to read a chatbox sometimes. It's also nice for characterization.
My only complaint is very minor in that we don't have a directory of who the voices were modeled from. That's about it.

the only time I've accepted it as an excuse was Titanfall 1, because that was some fucked up cross-generational game (x360/xb1) and they did not have the processing overhead to include an audio decoder in the engine because it was so running so close to the edge so they shipped it with fucking 35gb ...

Oh yeah I fucking loved Divinity 2. It was really special to play it with my friends. A really unique experience.

Indeed, but this just moves the goalposts, instead of getting yourself converted, you just "accidentally" speed run an assisted suicide and then go join the now more numerable antag rolling midrounds. And then you can speed run kill your next character and repeat. More notably cult/revs here ...
