fikou's motivations with that PR are extremely obvious in the description. he doesn't like that it's only QM, it's not that he likes non human heads. it's only ostensibly relevant. me and him disagree on this and have discussed it several times

You don't want to promote random people to head of staff, so you have to let them opt in for it.

You have just described the one outcome and Avenue for conflict I was talking about: the original head showing up. It’s a reputation check all the way down. If your static has the brand recognition to have people revolt for you then it’s fun, if you’re new or on a random name then you don’t.

Also QMs are allowed to be nonhuman for a couple of reasons:
1. Nepotism (It's not a long story but it's not an interesting one)
2. Because it adds a very distinct flavor to QM. Not everything needs to be consistent. Revel in the consistent inconsistency.

This is a UI problem, not one with the system itself. I'm not sure there's a wonderful reason the trimmer/painter/whatever need to be separate from the main computer (as long as tablets are limited like they are now).Very unintuitive with requiring to paint the card and the trim etc.

Hmm "enable tgui" on input is supposed to make those normal say boxes. Maybe it only changes the *other* tgui input prompts. I think it should revert it to old chat as well
