Howdy, here's my obligatory 'anyone with a forum account can edit the wiki' post. There are many pages that need some love, but our science pages are definitely some of the most crucial. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

While working alonside them during their candidacy, I noticed that they are calm, considerate, and professional. Keep up the great work!

I definitely love the general idea of a rewards program for the wiki; it reminds me of previous wiki improvement drives from some time ago (example: 2018 Improvement Drive).

Hi, I'm looking for some feedback on how the /tg/ wiki handles the archival of obsolete information .

Currently, full pages are usually untouched except for a small banner at the top stating its removal and that the page is archived (example: Nanites ).
Outdated sections in parts of larger pages ...

It's fun to recreate the scenes! I remade the xenomorph infection picture about a month ago. The previous version had really old lime-green blood and alien sprites. It was tricky to replicate the blood and gib placements as it dries up rather quickly.

I might post some threads that will essentially be an open peer-review of specific guides on the wiki. I have two topics drafted: Starter Guide and Blood Cult. These threads might move depending on the verdict of "Add a Guide section to the form".

Idea: Make simple pages for most jobs/antagonists, something like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simple_English_Wikipedia .
Pages like blood cult or cyborg have lots of detailed information! But if you need that information in a hurry, i.e. you were converted to cult or forceborged, you don't ...

I have pinged and reported the issue to Atlanta-Ned and they have restored the template.

Learning the maps was probably my biggest early hurdle and the webmap is so much easier to use than our wiki's images.

I definitely agree with your statement about the scope of the guides and the mining page. It is through forums that this can easily be brought to light, and to provide user comments. With this, I especially and strongly agree that a collaborative effort can help put together guides on the wiki ...

Guides in the Wiki are nice but hard to get there in the first place, and there's no way to search their contents (e.g. looking up all mention of BZ or Nitrium-née-Nitryl.
