I think, in a more general sweep, that I would support more drastic measures being taken by the headmin team / MSO to try and salvage some of Sybil's pop. Maybe not limiting the maps as a start, but other things as well.
Yes, it's true that it's a busy time for a lot of SS13 players but I really ...

Whatever the cap was before they were capped to 1 per round was far too many.

Re: Raise the amount of heretics on MRP from 1 to 2 (or more)
If there's 16 heretics all trying to ascend at once tearing the station apart they DEFINITELY aren't doing any gimmicks either.
I'd go as far to say that it's more of a code issue though because I feel that the inherent design of antags like Heretics don't help roleplay as much as they harm it but ...

Re: Raise the amount of heretics on MRP from 1 to 2 (or more)
...if the reason you limit them to one in MRP is balance then that's just policy trying to subvert code/design rather than work with it.
I think it's a better alternative than making MRP-specific changes to the code. MRP should have a different playstyle and feel than LRP, and I think that ...

Re: Raise the amount of heretics on MRP from 1 to 2 (or more)

Well the policy solution in the mean time would be to keep them capped at 1 or perhaps 2, that's why I brought it up.
Anywho, a couple more pennies to think on:
This is more of a general thought, but I think that "flooding" the station with individualistic antags actually hinders ...

They were an issue until the number of heretics was reduced to one per round. You'd turn the corner and BOOM rift, go around the next corner BOOM another rift. It ended up being that there would just be rifts in every public area.
As for me, I think that when there's a shitton of ...

Re: Raise the amount of heretics on MRP from 1 to 2 (or more)
The issue with increasing the amount of heretics onboard the station is that you'll end up with situations where every single corner and square inch if the station will be covered in rifts that remove people's limbs and make them want to kill themselves. Science never does anything about them either ...

Re: Roleplay: What the fuck is a spy?
It's probably not a good idea for a spy to be taking out high ranking members of the station's crew if they can help it because I would feel that avoiding getting caught should be their main priority in order to be able to cause as much damage / gather as much intel as possible. Going on rampages ...

Re: {Roleplay} Heretics should be allowed to say fuck in an eldritch tongue
RPR6 should apply for the * crimes * done, not whether sec needs to check on their perma prisoner every once in a while. There is not a single word in RPR6 that says that security is allowed to execute someone because they'd be difficult to contain.
Yeah, but, what is the baseline for those ...

I still fully believe that nobody on MRP is unlawfully executing heretics just because they're heretics and getting away with it. I just don't think that that's a problem that heretics face on MRP.

Re: Can we bump threat on manny a little bit?
Not a fan, the amount of antags in a 30 threat round is sufficient enough for me to have fun, I think. The issue is that security staffing / skill can vary wildly on highpop, and if the amount of security / security's relative skill is too low it's going to end up making every round with 50+ threat ...

I don't think that heretic necessarily warps RPR6 for security as much ...

I think the intent is important, maybe I forgot to convey that in my original post. If someone helps after being killed for pissing people off during a nukeops round then I would hope you would hit them with a rule one ban. If you'd like IC reasoning, here it is for most cases: "Nuclear operatives are a global threat with station-ending consequences. In doing my part to help the ...

I don't like slimepeople as a race and I think they should be disabled.
These things should not be reenabled before fish people are created by coders but that's more of a code issue.

This would quite literally just tank sec playrate to 0 and just make it so cargo becomes the new psuedosec because then they just order mosins and kill people who are too ornery.
