If you're going to remove or hinder sleepers in an effort to make doctors use their medical supplise then give doctors a better way to replenish medical supplies. Maybe they can get cellulose from botany for bruisepacks and use asteroid-sand to make ointment.

It'd be nice if the CMO/Virologist could set a a particular virus (by name) to not appear with the disease icon on the Medical HUD. It'd help traitors mask their pathogen-pertinent plans and make it so beneficial viruses don't have medstaff scanning passerby every five seconds.

I think it'd be more sensible to have that worked into its own medipen. Analog to epinephrine or atropine, or give it its own silly name like resuscitussin.

Even so this is a pretty cool start. I've always wanted to see defibs in SS13 if only for the cliche value alone.

Besides which, if there are balance concerns, I see enough factors here that can be adjusted. (Revival time, charges, maybe make it so the defib needs to have a costly replacement made ...

I've actually thought about this a bit, since I enjoy playing Medical Doctor but I can definitely admit the role isn't exactly a complex one and often times you more or less end up a glorified sleeper door-opener. Many rounds I just end up taking bottles full ...

Most rounds I end up setting up cryo and then playing the Medical Doctor role as Paramedic/EMT anyhow. But a lot of times people will drag the injured to medical's doorstep on their own; I feel like the question becomes one of what tools and/or circumstances would make the response of a Paramedic ...

Medbay should have a box of lollipops to give to good patients. Make them equippable as face-slot items like cigarettes, except they can also be added as an accessory to clown masks.
