Since I have posted this, I have already received a bunch of awesome messages from some noice people :D !

Currently everything is looking good, I will just leave up this post in case anyone is interested in my "SS13"-fantasy look-alike.

(Or it can be closed, anything is fine by me :) )

Request/Discussion: Paying SS13 Spriters for custom Project

This might be a bit off an odd post, so it is mostly aimed at Mods, Maintainers and Admins for me to get some feedback on it.

Some Background Information

I have been working on my own, custom game engine since 4 years and code-wise its pretty much done.
I have created my own modding tools and ...

Re: Re-Work of the Portable Chemical Mixer

just make the pr?
I did not want to invest that kind of effort until we had this more or less sorted out here. In my first PR (the chem mixer) that was the first lesson I learned

Re-Work of the Portable Chemical Mixer

A long time ago I submitted the Portable Chemical Mixer (originally Portable Chemical Dispenser) to github and this Forum. After some good feedback and a few changes, it was merged.
It looks like this, can be printed at the medical lathe and the original need for an anomaly core has been removed ...

Re: Introducing: The Portable Chemical Mixer

Thank you for your feedback, I have adjusted the cartridges accordingly
- The mixer now only accepts pure samples
- The cartridges are reusable (and need more materials to be made)

I also edited the description in the first post of this thread, so it stays up-to-date

Re: Introducing: The Portable Chemical Mixer

Yes, the pure samples would absolutely be possible, no problem
But from the gameplay perspective, wouldn't that mean that a player would have to insert 10-15 cartridges one by one first in order to start mixing?

If you insist, we can do it, but if there will be a purifying process in the future ...

Re: Introducing: The Portable Chemical Mixer

That said, an item that further integrates the dispenser is not a direction I want chemistry to go in. I believe I mentioned this in the PR.
This item does not require the dispenser, you can use reagents from any source, so if the dispenser should disappear one day, this item would work just as ...

Introducing: The Portable Chemical Mixer

Hello everyone!
On the station I am known as Jay Smith and with my buddy Michael Trauf, I have recently developed an item called the " Portable Chemical Dispenser ".
We made a pull request to merge it into the main code and while a lot of people seemed to like the basic idea of it, the PR ultimately ...
