New info popped up apart from the killing of something more serious, and you were banned appropriately.
If you actually read the rules page instead of hopping on a random server blindly, you would have seen:

You can't use "I didn't know the rules" as an excuse, you're expected to read the rules when you're playing on the server, this ban wasn't for no reason at all.

You broke the rules, and you got punished. I'm sure that they will consider unbanning you but you should read the rules if you don't want ...
