I don't really think the problem is that people are too nice but that a lot of the structure of Manuel incentivizes people to play in fairly boring ways and makes more complex forms of roleplay/ character interactions harder to achieve. PS: If you know how to sell items on the cargo shuttle, but link that purchase to individual ID cards. Please also post that. Like selling plasma, but instead of cargo getting the credits for the sale, your ID does. Someone did that for me one time.

yeah you can pretty much already do this with the rags you find in the bar. Just dump a beaker of whatever onto a rag, use it on someone with harm intent and they will instantly ingest whatever was in the rag provided they don't have any mouth covering. I agree that the sense of urgency is good but I can't really think of any other event that hits the station as hard or as fast as this one does except for maybe catastrophic meteors.
