Re: People you miss that probably left the community
I FORGOT ABOUT QUINN WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM
I'm really, REALLY late to the party as this was a year ago, but Quinn mentioned to me (I play Sherrie Jet Scott if you know that name lol) awhile back that SS13 was beginning to feel grindy and not as fulfilling or fun to play, even on Aurora. I gave ...

I want to be there for when he's made a Headmin, because I swear to God it's only a matter of time.
I wasn't there when he was made a Headmin, but I just want you all to know, the amount of joy I have in my heart having been the person who watched Cheshify go from an admin candidate all the way ...

Re: Atlanta-Ned
I should probably get more time around this admin before I submit this feedback, but it was really detrimental to my round and so I'd like to put it here, even if I revise it later:
I was spotted as a changeling (a very outwardly non-combative one, I'm on Manuel at this time), and I fired one shot ...

Re: Cheshify
Time for my 3rd feedback: now you can finally say that Goku round happened! I'm glad I got to be a part of it, it was super goofy and silly and I loved every second of it. Seriously, this admin is just the greatest--I want to be there for when he's made a Headmin, because I swear to God it's only a ...

Very open-to-ideas and professional when dealing with ahelps. I feel listened to as a player whenever I ask for help or pitch a gimmick to this admin.
Need to boost this feedback again! I was honestly having the worst time of my life some months back on TG, I just couldn't enjoy it and it ...

Re: Bring back revival requirements from Old Escalation Policy
Conflict isn't a one size fits all hypothetical, different issues will arise for different reasons. Are you saying that for every single instance that a conflict escalates to violence and ends in the other person's death that the individual should risk being round removed, even if the conflict isn't ...

Re: Lowpop antagonists shouldn't follow their objectives at all costs.
You mention objectives here, but then talk about people aiming to be an oppressive unstoppable force in the game space. Those aren't the same things, are they?
So what's the guideline to enforcement here if this were to become policy?
They aren't the same thing, but they go hand in hand ...

Now that I've coded in a martial artist gi (READ: totally not a Goku outfit) due to Cheshify's wishes, I need to express how awesome and goofy it felt to do that and moreover how insanely disappointed I'll be if they don't tell me how that event went/goes down when they do it.
Also, they have a ...

Lowpop antagonists shouldn't follow their objectives at all costs.
So, this is either going to be a very long discussion or very short discussion--I haven't checked if there's been past policy discussions regarding this same thing, but it feels necessary to revisit if there has been past mentions of it. Without further ado, here's my primer:
Lowpop antagonists ...

Well-coordinated talks and conversations out of game, but feels really aggressive in game/OOC. I seldom ahelp gimmicks or ideas I have because I feel like they'll be shot down, and with remarks like "if you dust him I will fuck you up" among other things I've heard and seen I feel much less inclined ...

I once got extremely tilted at someone for focusing me the whole round as a nonantag, and while it was a mostly IC issue, they happily obliged and gave me a bounty hunter role, since I didn't want any administrative action. Sadly, they were killed by a cult before I got to them, but that was closure ...

Re: (MRP) Antags actively going counter to their IC objectives
I think the more you push broad rules about conduct, the more you stifle creativity. This is why we had the recent rule update to allow for more general freedom. When you are at the mercy of an admin over whether or not your behaviour is conducive to your role, or you have to not flub explaining ...

Re: (MRP) Antags actively going counter to their IC objectives
It sort of falls under friendtagging which people can agree is cringe.
Friendtagging is bad when there isn't a good reason to do so. If you're Syndicate-aligned, it makes sense to help out the nukies. If you don't like being blown up but you're still Syndicate-aligned, it makes sense that you'd ...

Re: (MRP) Antags actively going counter to their IC objectives
It's also worth mentioning that most all of the issues that arise from needing IC justification can be any sort of personal nonsense someone comes up with. For instance, maybe they're not a traitor, maybe they're just an unlucky assistant with an uplink from Central Command who told them "go do ...

Re: (MRP) Antags actively going counter to their IC objectives
IC objectives are usually "go do X minor thing that effects absolutely nobody" or "round remove one guy silently". I don't know why they even exist on MRP.
I agree wish Cheshify. Antagonists were designed to be an opposing force to the crew initially, but over the years I feel as though it ...

Extremely kind, energetic, and fun admin who listens thoughtfully and humors a lot of events. Once gave me a bounty hunter role when I got IC-conflicted by someone who had focused me an entire shift, let me get sweet, sweet revenge. Thanks for that. Whoops, I mistook you for another admeme. I once antag-rolled before I knew what the term was and instead of giving me a note or banning me, had an honest conversation with me and didn't push it. I come from a long line of servers across different mediums (from SS13 to GMod to whatever else you can name) where the go-to is to just ban first ...

I ahelped for some basic materials to remodel my bar to look Syndicate-themed, and they went above and beyond by giving me a ton of gear to sell, several stacks of the materials I needed (plastitanium and plastitanium glass), even played as an "Interdyne Medical Doctor" who showed up for a drink and ...

Everything about this admin rocks. Every shift so far that I've had them has been interesting or fun, and they've even helped me set up the rewards for a poker tournament (and gave me a trophy for "Best Syndicate Bar"). Should be made full admin ASAP.
